Our Story

BestCrosses Studios was created by Jack Sussman, in partnership with Terence Richards and Peter A. Sussman. We produce and distribute original premium content.

Jack Sussman

Los Angeles and Toronto-based Jack Sussman began his career as a celebrated influencer. BestCrosses Studios originates from the basketball-themed social media page @BestCrosses, created by Jack in 2013 when he was only 13 years old, that he grew to over a million followers around the world, including many professional athletes and celebrities.

In 2018, Jack along with Terence Richards and his father Peter Sussman launched BestCrosses Studios to produce and distribute premium, longer-form content for both traditional and new media platforms. Their first production was the Canadian Screen Awards nominated series (6 episodes) “Anyone’s Game.”

Jack oversees BestCrosses Studios’ development slate of over a dozen projects in both unscripted and scripted content. He also writes and directs segments and interviews in connection with BestCrosses Studios’ unscripted projects.

Terence Richards

Terence has more than 20+ years of senior management leadership and operational experience in sports, entertainment, content, media, broadcasting, cable networks, wireless mobility, advertising, and digital distribution.

Terence is viewed as a transformative executive, advisor, and entrepreneur, known for unlocking growth opportunities between the intersection of enabling technology and traditional industry and he has been on the forefront of how content is engaged with by consumers.

Terence was a co-founder of a leading media software company that pioneered the software and patents behind streaming content for distribution through the cloud to Pay-TV operators, Connected TV device manufacturers, Apps and FAST services worldwide. The vision to create this software technology before platforms like iOS, Android or devices like iPhones, iPads, Samsung Galaxy, CTV's were in existence was his business team’s great foresight.
